Merb won't get more opinionated, we just offer a generator + gem to
get a suggested merb package including merb + dm. We are totally open
to support other packages, and obviously any merb module in core and
more will be fully supported. As a matter of fact, yellowpages.com is
looking in using their own merb stack using sequel, and we will make
sure to work with them to keep the stack always working. (that's If
they really go with merb and agree to support merb_sequel)

We are also working hard on defining a public/private API and
guarantee the public API.

I hope that helps,

-Matt
