Google hides the gem name above: it's merb-param-protection . This is a bit less granular than I specified but looks like it probably does enough for me.
Thanks for the pointer. Looks like it's even a supported module by wycats! It's more on the side of a security filter than a parameter specification. Specifying parameters to actions is something done explicitly in other frameworks.
