I think a lot of prospective Merbists would enjoy and benefit
from being able to attend Merbish hackfests.  I know these
have been useful to me in getting up to speed on Rails, etc.

I dunno how the Merb community is distributed, geographically,
but I'm sure there are enough interested folks in the SF Bay
Area to do something.  I volunteer to put together a list of
interested parties; feel free to drop me a note, off list.

As far as setting things up in other areas goes, it might be
useful to create a wiki page where folks can register their
geographic coordinates, etc.
