Hi, I've started writing custom builder to merb forms, to add some more markup options.
I have a problem with choosing between the plugins and slices. I saw Matt's talk on merb camp on writing plugins. One of his points was "merb plugins are plugins extending merb". Another point was "slices are plugins with content". My plugin is extending merb (new builder, some new helpers), so I thought about plugin. Then I realized that in many of my apps forms looks similar and I could drop basic stylesheet and javascript files to make it even easier to reuse. I thought about rake task to copy javascript and stylesheet files after installing the plugin. But wouldn't it be nice if I could just install plugin and include javascript and css? In this scenario slice would be better.
