You are always free to check out lepilo at http://github.com/smoofles/lepilo/tree/master which uses merb 1.x (as faras I know ;) ), DataMapper, jQuery and its Ajax stuff, haml, MerbAuth and SWFUpload for multiple file uploads. I'm also still actively developing it, and if you have any questions or comments just either email me or ask about it in the #merb or #lepilo irc channels (my nick is "smoofles").
