Now, while you have your Windows 'puter out, can you run RubyParser without 
having any C compiler laying around?

(BTW I couldn't use VMWare. I never got to emulate Linux - the easy part - 
because of the unbelievably morbid obesity of the rest of their tool chain. 
Tomcat to serve an embedded website? What were they thinking??)
