I'm user of the Slices. I find some quirks on the 1.9.x but didn't have time to investigate deeper than just finding the workarounds. I'd love to put some more effort into it. And I'll have to because I use 3 home baked slices now.
Could you provide me with hints what needs to be updated in the generators or if you have any patches for the slices itself. I'll push your work to the master ASAP.
