My mechanic said that the most likely reason for failure of the aux. cooling fan in our 1985 300CD is a blown fuse. The fan blade spins freely so the motor isn't seized. He says the fuse is located separate from the fuse box but didn't tell me where. Can someone help, or is he incorrect?
