Just reviewing the test scores from the state mandated WASL here (sort
of a weak version of SAT or ITBS). There are a whole bunch of people
dumber than moss on the north end of a tree in school. There is no
curve to grade against. The test has a 100% up to speed/par on what
they taught/know cut off, as well as ability to far surpass par. The
kids get stupider as they age, and by the time they are 15 most schools
are having fewer than 40% score par. This is sad, since par enables
you to get a good job pushing a broom or shovel.
