I found a 1978 300D here in Wichita cheap. It has working a/c. so, I may buy it before someone snatches it up. It only has 175,000 miles. I am trying to get pics of the interior or schedule a time to go see it this evening.
I don't know anything about the 300D that early. I had two 123's diesels, but they were 82, 83. Both were turbo. Anything special I should look for on this one? Is the mileage a little worse on the non-turbo since you have to have your foot in it all the time? Should I expect 24-26 on the highway? (that is what I got in my 123's).
