Hey, tell him it is (optional upgrade) fuel economy mode.  Only runs on 
half the cylinders.  Tell him he will save at the gas station.  I bet the 
dealer was charging $7k to put it into fuel economy mode (so it can 
accelerate like a 240D)  Then the dealer gets to pocket a 2-4k module he 
can later resell.

If you read the subject line, it sounds like someone wants a box to detune 
a 12 into a 6.

Sheesh, anyone who owns a v12 should expect fancy repair bills.
