First of all, based on the experience of this list, I'll stick to the R12..... In the 11+ years I owned the car, this is the 3'rd time I needed to "top off" the R12. About every 4-5 years it looses enough to make the system not cool as good as it should, so I think I'll stick to just topping off with R-12. Each time, it took less than a pound. BTW, I've also located a local establishment who can help me out. One question: Do I need to be concerned with adding additional oil to the system? Or is there a way to check? (I have not located the dipstick on the compressor. <vbseg>) Thanks, again.
