A friend of mine purchased an inexpensive but decent quality DLP
projector and hung it in his basement using a sheet for a screen. Later
on, he purchased a real screen. We watched "Black Hawk Down" and I
flinched a few times as AK rounds whined over my head.

I thought that it was a real as any theater experience and he really
didn't pay too much for it. He started to hang out over at
http://www.avsforum.com/ and was able to find good deals and know what
equipment to buy. It is much like here, lots of experts and lots of
details to know.
