some of you may remember the tale of getting screwed on ebay on a '75 450sl
in houston...well, the piece of shit arrived today...on an expensive truck.
the seller was George Kavelon, using the ebay moniker of "europa2004"
i received a very poorly remodeled car that seems to have: a pretty straight
body; good engine; tranny that does all the things it says on the shift
console...but there are funny noises while shifting across neutral (linkage
issue?)
i want done of it...i'm sorta feeling stupid for being so defrauded...so
defrauded-no question
any ideas how to salvage out the thing?
problems: radiator needed; exhaust system needed; ac not working; probably
lots of fit and finish issues...but, brand new tires i bought at 25 miles
post purchase when one blew up!
car is in spokane, wa...odometer says 115k...but i don't believe it one bit
i'll try to send the original ebay page just for grins and giggles...
