My comment was about Colin Powell's qualifications to make such a judgment.
It does seem to me that given his background he has some credibility there.
For those of us whose minds have been made up it won't make any difference.
I don't think any Republicans will vote for Obama or Democrats go from
McCain to Obama based on his endorsement. Independents might be a different
story, but at this point I tend to question anyone who has not been able to
make up their mind [though I suspect this is more a 'feeling' thing than an
intellectual exercise.] That is one reason I quit watching debate coverage
on CNN and went to BBC America - that dumb line showing how some few
"persuadable folks" felt during the debates. I thought it silly and
misleading even though I tended to agree with it. Obviously a significant
chunk of the country does not. Look at this list and all the electrons that
have been used to service one side or the other. I seriously doubt if
anyone has changed sides on the campaign or even individual issues from any
of it, though it occasionally helps me to articulate my position on
something better. I was glad to hear Colin Powell state some of the same
things I had been thinking, but then it wasn't a game changer for me any
more than for any of us.

Colin Powell is entitled to his opinion of course, but I do not see how
Obama passes the "qualified" test any better than Palin does. Seems a
weak argument to me.
