Can a leaky trunklock vacuum element cause a 1985 300CD to run on and on? There is a serious vacuum leak somewhere, but the front door locks check out OK. I replaced the fuel door servo this summer. Could a breach in the trunk lock servo have the effect of preventing the vehicle from shutting off? The locks work intermittently (lock and unlock).
