I've gotta step in now. zwiebel would be pronounced tsveebehl. "Z" is always a "ts" sound. You have your vowels correct, but consonants are lacking some.

Ha! Caught you! I know about IE and EI in German. In

your first e-mail you wrote:

SO, it is certainly sveebel, but see why I thought it

was svibel (long i)?



Anyway, it is now certain that i will remember zwiebel
