My adventure of changing a bulb in the snow. Well, the 300E needed a new bulb in the front yellow turn signal. No problem. I have a peek in and notice some mice must have moved in and chewed on the wires!!! Also setting up house with a stash of maple keys. It was all clean about a week ago. Those little guys move fast!! Ok, so I'll try some shrink material over the wires. I go to pop the light assemble out, press on the tab, and snap! Oops, guess I should have pressed the other way. Ok, assemble now falls out and dangles by the wire. I take it indoors, get it all cleaned up and ready to see if I can glue the tang back on. If not, anyone have a spare set of turn singles kicking around? lol So I'm off to the parts store now, see what I can find to do a fixer upper.
I also have another 560 lined up to look at. I haven't had much look finding a clean 420 or 560, so I'm thinking to look for some newer stuff, either a E 320 similar to my W124 style, or even the next version, but I hear they rust easy?? Anyway, off to tinker.
