Boy. That last line is wrong three different ways!!! When dealing with pi and radius and "squared" and circles, the formula is "pi X radius^2" - not "(Pi X Radius)^2" But this is pointless because that would calculate area - and it's _circumference_ we want, which is: "pi x diameter". And if we ignore both of those errors, and just look at what is written - the math is wrong. (3.14159265 x 12.75)^2 = 1421.223 (not 161.3) So, the real answer is 25.5" x 3.14159265 = 80.11" = 6.676 ft. -- Philip _______________________________________ http://www.okiebenz.com For new and used parts go to www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com
