Peter,
Not completely sure that door handles on a 126 are the same as my
116. But, take a look at the side of the door where locking
mechanism is and see if there is an oval, black plastic cover (1"x2")
and carefully remove. Inside you will see two phillips screws.
Tighten them. Should do it. If you wish to ever remove a handle,
just remove screws, slide handle forward and it will pull out of the
door.
