This is probably a better solution unless he can pull the cam & rockers himself to absolutely guarantee that the rockers stay with the original cam lobes or trust that the person pulling the cam has done it correctly.
Eric, Lack of oil feed is one case of cam failure and something you need to watch for. The spray bar in some of these engines was held in with plastic clips. The clips get brittle & break away. When this happens, much of the oil goes out the clip holes instead of the spraying on the front cam lobes.
