Since your wife will be going to the mall more often than you, probably
better to get a car with an automatic transmission. She won't want to be
pushing clutch pedals and shifting gears, so why not spend a little less
money and get a real Mercedes such as the MB SLR McLaren, the fastest A/T

It only does 0-60 in 3.8 seconds and only has a top speed of 207 mph, but
that's probably fast enough since she'll be talking on her cell phone most
of the time.
Your car, on the other hand, should definitely make a statement; so nothing
less than the second fastest car, the Bugatti Veyron, 0-60 mph in 2.5
seconds, top speed of 253 mph., and the worlds top price of $1,192,000,
would suffice. Rusty can probably get you a discount.
