route from the cylinders to the inside of the valve cover could only be the
valve guide seals.  The oil is not entering the combustion cycle, so no

cylinders from the seals. The fact that the vent tube is popping/leaking
means that the pressure is too high to be bled off by the intake.

The good news is that a new set of seals is cheap.
