Have you ever tried to create any serious vacuum with a mityvac? Theres way to
much volume in the cooling system, it'd take a billion years with a mityvac...

What about a mityVac and a hose replacing the small overflow hose? Take
a 3-4ft length of clear tubing and install a tee in the middle with the
MityVac. Would that work?

Has anybody used something like:
http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/item.asp?P65=&tool=all&item_ID=66765&group_ID=12500&store=snapon-store&dir=catalog
Diesel Giant mentioned one and it seems to cover exactly why I hate
cooling system service. I need to do both cars soon and this seems like
a good investment.
Seems like there ought to be a cheaper option than Snapon too...
