Interesting how people with no direct experience on a subject are so willing to give advice.
It's not surprising that people with no knowledge of how to maintain a diesel experience failures - regardless of the fuel they use. Starting out with a 20+ year old car that no one else wanted to buy does not help. I pulled the head on my S350 20K after running on 100% WVO. It looked fine inside.
