The color looks mighty good to me; 'had an 81 300D that color; may be my favorite color on an MB. I've always thought that a 126 should be black, but now that I've spent 14 years trying to keep one looking good, I may have to change my mind on the black. Maybe an ivory 126 is OK, too. 'Had a cactus green 80- 240D; 'never did like that color, but it was the only car available within 100 mi. or so in Nov 79 when I needed a car, and even when was totaled 14 years later, it still glistened. BTW, it really is OK for us to like different colors, etc; doesn't make any one of them any more "right" than another.

I already have two w123 wagons. They are fun if challenging to work on, and
the parts are still available and reasonably priced.

Still, the 1987 looks pretty clean in the photos, although the color
combination is beyond (beneath?) BORING.

This car seems almost perfect yet the price is still really low. Didn't
Marshall say this was the best diesel wagon of all time? I don't get it.
Why are the older 123 wagons pricier?
