Start simple.
Sounds like it might be ok at idle to 1200 RPM or so. Change fuel
filters. IF the tank is not real full, you might want to check the
tank screen. Try that first, if it is ok at low rpm. How long since
you tanked up?

and would only hold 60 mph in third gear, pedal to the floor, spewing grey
smoke. Came to a stop light, it idled smoothly and normally. Accelerating
when it turned green, the car had little power, started knocking, and

off the fuel and let it shift to the next higher gear, and it would slowly

the engine results in the shacking, missing, knocking, and lots of smoke
