I know, but I like the idea of having the car looked over more often than that, and I can't do it. At 312K miles it does seem to have things that need attention on a pretty regular basis. Thanks - BillR

You may be throwing away oil that is less that 50% depleted. My 300SDL went 20Kmi and at that point was 75% depleted. Why toss it out?
