I found a Newton at a garage sale several years ago, very slightly used and still in the box [with about a $1,100 price tag on it]. It was the end of the day and they wanted $125 for it. I had no idea what it was and offered $45 [what I had on me]. They talked and finally agreed to that. I fell in love with it, but sold it a few months later for $500 to finance a weekend at a honeymoon retreat in the mountains with my wife. It gave me the bug, though, and I bought a Casio soon after and have had a handheld every since. BillR
