cheap 1540 - like I have in all my cars. I kno we all talk alot abotu all the expensive oils - but I have never had an engine wear out due to excessive heat or "oil Viscosity breakdown" I just use a 1540 synthtic blend availble at my local rural king for about 20 bucks per 2 gallon jug.
