I've been driving it for the past two weeks. That's how I know it probably needs a new pump. When I put weight on the back with the engine running the back doesn't come up. However if I drive down the road with the load, in a few blocks with the bumps and all the back end will come up from 15" at one mark on the bumper to 17" or within 2" of the normal ride height of 19" for that same point. I guess that's not too bad with about 650 lbs back of the wheels (5 bags of portland). It accelerates faster then the sedan I have does and starts better. The engine sounds real good but the transmission still occasionally slips on the 2-3 shift. I still think it has something to do with the valve body (sticking valve) but I'm not worried enough about it to go in after it.
