That sounds like a pretty expensive "free" engine when you factor in the hours pulling and reinstalling engines. hee hee. And the engine you get for your effort, is dead, isn't it?
Now, if it was a really good looking, toasted Ferrari V12 engine, maybe. Who wouldn't love to have a really cool looking V12 Ferrari coffee table ?? :-) Maybe there's a business venture in there for someone. Pull old Mercedes parts, clean them up, and mount them. I know a lot of you are into woodworking for a hobby. A nice grill from a 170, mounted on a wood backing.
