I prefer metric, or decimal inch. The fractional crud and teaspoon,tablespoon, pint, quart, etc get on my nerves.
That being said, I default to deg F for temperature because that's about all anyone knows here. Powers of ten are your friend in electronics as well, so metric jives very nicely with my chosen field.
