On the topic of outsourcing service, does anyone know what engines Emirates
are using on their A380s, and also, if the do the servicing in house? I
seem to recall that Lufthansa does so of the servicing for them?

I have a friend who is a bit nervous of climbing aboard a RR equipped 380
who has some trips booked.

Thanks,
Ed
