I just came in from messing with the car for a few minutes
(while kid is taking a nap). Fluid does not smell burned or
anything, proper level. Wife said after they filled it back up it
did the same thing which I take to be slipping when trying to
shift into a higher gear. I just took the thing for a drive and
it shifts just fine into all gears. When you rev it up I can hear
a little bit of a whine that may be coming from the tranny. I
suspect the filter is plugging up so I am going to change it next
chance I get before it gets driven anymore. I think the tranny is
OK. I still need to pull the IP on that car though since I think
its the cause of the miss on #1 when it cold for the first several
miles. Just about everything else has been done to correct it.
It does seem to have a decent sized oil leak coming from it
somewhere as well.
