I had part interest in a Model T in the late 1940s. 3 or 4 of us went in together and bought it for $25. The cloth top was long gone and the seats were bad, but it would do an honest 25 mph wide open. The engine was worn and pumped a lot of vapor out that came up in the front seat area if the windshield was opened out. We made a breather tube out of plumbing fittings and hooked a piece of 3/4" garden hose on it and ran it back under the body so it wouldn't come up in the seat area. IIRC a short 3/4" pipe nipple dropped down in the breather tube and it had an elbow with a 1/2" reducer and a close 1/2" nipple that connected to the garden hose. When we added oil, which was often, we just pulled the short nipple out of the breather tube, added the oil, and then put it back. You might be able to rig something like that; maybe use copper fittings; unless you want it to look like it belongs there.
Good luck,
Gerry

Okay, for clarification of the item I am looking for. Here is one for sale on Ebay. Anyone seen this type of object in an auto parts store? Or wrecking yard/ Or basement? Not even sure this would fit my oil filler tube.

Of course, I don't want to pay $50 for it. They sold at Pep Boys and similar stores in the fifties and sixties for a couple of dollars. I want it to divert blowby gases and oil coming out of the oil filler tube on an old Olds. This is all before smog controls. And, by the way, what is the name for that flexible metal tubing that seems to be an endless spiral?
JC Whitney does not have this item.
