Not certain of the exact amounts but my recollection is that we have had about 20 cm 3 times so we are into the record books for November, I believe. The snow clearing budget for the city has taken a heavy hit. Snowfalls like this cost millions to clear.

By the way, we are getting more today and the forecast is for heavier snow this evening I believe.

A client was in on Friday and told me a story I will pass along. He has a customer/client who is an engineer. The engineer lives in a house in one of the new developments with little or no front yard because it is mostly driveway leading to the garage. He also lives on the outer edge of the development with no one behind him - backs onto a major street so there is good setback and thus some room for what he does. He has installed a conveyor belt setup from front to back so that he can shovel of blow snow onto the conveyor and in turn have it dumped over his fence onto the vacant road allowance behind him. Might be a bit on the fugly side but you have to give him some credit for a unique solution to his problem.

Hey Randy - What's the cumulative snowfall in the past week up there?

Snow, snow and more snow here this past week. I have run the snow blower
twice in about 3 days and need to do it again. Don't think I used it more
than once all last winter. Does not bode well for us if this keep up as we
had more rain than usual this past summer and the ground is saturated. The
rivers are high and the spring will bring flooding again- hopefully not as
bas as 1997. Winnipeg should be ok given the floodway and the expansion of
it sinc 1997 but always a risk and it will be unpleasant for foks outside it
- especially to the south towards Grand Forks ND etc.

I do post from my office. I have other forums that I participate in from
home in the evening.

Nice day on the coast. cloudy and some sun, 78-80 degrees.
Bright sunny here, 32 deg.F. high after a 20 deg.F low. It's supposed to
get down to 10 tonight and then warm up to 45 tomorrow.

Y'all must either be busy eating turkey or resting up for Black
Friday bargain hunting as the list has gone quiet. I thought it
might be busy today but now I understand most of you folks do this

I, for one, post from home.
