Perhaps the extended shell tubes made the shotguns illegal - we're limited to three shells while hunting waterfowl. Some animals aren't considered game, are are in 'open season' all year long (crows, coyotes) - feral hogs might not fall into that category though. Otherwise, I think it's a great idea!
