A couple weeks ago my '78 240D started not shutting down good. Today was
relatively warm so I figured it was time.
Turns out the passenger side rear door had broken the open line right where it
goes into the door. I managed to break the close line too. What a horrible
place to have a break. I ended up cutting long pieces of hose and running them
down to nearly where the hard lines turn at the floor inside. It was much too
hard to work with at the original break...
Anyway doors lock and unlock again and the car shuts down, a good day.
