What is a code reader I should get for my 99 E430. Its got a check engine light that came on and I want to get that taken care of.

You probably don't want to pay for anything that can handle all the MBZ
readings.

Unfortunately, Amazon's $19 OBD-II reader is now Amazon's $30 OBD-II reader:

Nothing at Advance Auto for under $60, so even with a 40% off coupon it's not that cheap.

Does a 1999 do the Chrysler thing where you turn the key on-off-on-off-on and it flashes the codes or displays them on the odometer?
