Because of the shape of the highways unless you go through Canada you pretty
much have to go through MA to go to Maine and RI is just half an hour or so
south of where the east/west and north/south highways meet. Just reschedule
your trip, easy this far out.

How far is that from the state of Maine? I may be up there
sometime but I think it would be during the summer.
