Right, but the Delvac is good for ironheads (615, 616, 617) when you change oil to keep soot levels down. The aluminum heads, I run M1 in. Soot levels are much lower in this generation of engines.

I started using dino (not delvac) oil in the older dodge when it started leaking

The Delvac 1300 is not synthetic, though.  Delvac-1/M1 "Turbo Diesel
Truck" is the synthetic stuff.
