Are the 722 transmissions in an '86 300E and '87 300D identical? I'm thinking about having my indy pull the trans from my POS 300E (from which I am pulling a lot of parts to get the 300D back on the road), reseal it, and swap it into the 300D. Anyone have any ballpark idea how many hours of labor I'm looking at to do that? Yeah, I know I am probably better off getting a rebuilt from Rusty, but money's tight.
