Color burgundy with palomino interior. A rust hole in the rear
pillar at the bottom where the rain gutter ends, a small hole in
the rear passenger floor at the drain hole making it the size of
a dollar but solid all around, not much of a problem there. Also
a 6" diam rust hole at the bottom of the rear quarter panel that
will be an easy microwave fix. No records unfortunately and a odo
that stopped at 116K and more then 4 years ago. Interior is good
except the dash top which has a bunch of cracks. The ACC seems to
work (gives hot or cool air at command) but the AC does not have
enough charge to run though the compressor can be turned by hand.
Will pull a vacuum and see what happens there. It was converted
to 134 by a Mercedes dealer in 2003 according to a tag glued on
the front frame. Tach works sporadically so will try ovaling the
pins on the sender/transducer? to see if I can get better
contact. Will need to take a look at the sunroof as it is low on
one side front and was siliconed closed. Price $1200. Yeah I know
a bit too much but the engine runs quietly though a bit weak at
the start (see previous posts on that). Shifter needs the
bushings replaced and muffler needs rubbers replaced. The
suspension rides good, the oil is at the right level and seems to
be mineral oil from the smell, though dark, so no leaks and will
be changed along with all the other fluids ASAP and before any
more extensive driving. Tranny seems to shift good though
sometimes feels like it starts in second. Needs paint job and the
tinting on the windows replaced to look good.
