You're probably right, though.
I used to have a Crown Victoria very much like the one in the original
movie, but without the special equipment, of course. Seeing that
headlight pattern in the rear view mirror still triggers "police car"
alarms in my brain, even though no self-respecting precinct would still
be driving one that old now.
