What's actually being sold? A 210 with a 4 liter V8 and 3rd row drop
seats or a paddock basher, with one of the good ole boys hanging out of
the sunroof with a rifle in hand, hunting them there critters?

I'd be all over that. My next car purchase is almost certainly going
to be a W210 E320 or E430 4Matic. I'd like a post-facelift '00 or
later if I can find one without the Sport package (don't want the
lower suspension or bigger wheels) and navigation crap. But the one
in the CL ad would do for the time being.
