My '85 S123 has SLS.

Superior meaning "more durable" or meaning "desirable
function"?

I don't have data for durability, but I don't like how it
functions. Higher stall speed torque converter and shifts from
1st to 2nd while the shift lever is in "L". These bug me
_every_ time I drive it.

Anyone have a rather well sorted out beater pre-'85 wagon they
want to trade for my rather well sorted out beater 1985 wagon?
