I've ridden a fair amount in Airbus planes the last few years (always keep meaning to keep a log) and I can't really tell any difference comfort-wise between them and a Boeing. A new Airbus is preferable to an old Boeing and vice versa.
My least favorite current ride is an MD-88. Flight from Paris to Atlanta was a Boeing 777; VERY nice to ride in that plane.
