From an earlier post I remember you said you are 62. They
won't say so but that counts against you when being considered for a
teaching post. They usually want fairly young people as new teachers
on the theory that the younger ones will better relate to the
students. And be less of a burden to their retirement
system. Unless, of course, you come trailing some sort of star
quality fancy awards, etc. You probably are not even Black or
Hispanic. So sorry.
