I'm thinking of unloading my '83 300D. It's been a good car, and I've certainly gotten my money's worth out of it, but I have too many cars and too little time.
It has a good engine and transmission (B2 replacement done), but the front end will need a rebuild, it's rather sloppy and noisy. AC does not work, suspect leaky evap. Heat and ACC does work. Also has rust starting around fenders, and the paint on the hood is dead. As a small bonus it does have euro headlights fitted. All in all it's probably better as a parts car but could be used as beater or even a primary car if you're not too concerned about appearance, assuming you did the front-end work. Any interest?
